I just hope April is better. March 2012 will be considered the month to forget by me. It started of ok, I got a fair bit of painting done and things were good. Then I started to feel a bit sick. "No worries" says I, probably something I ate. I said that for 2 weeks, then ended up in A&E in Torbay with serious stomach pains, plus the dreaded D&V. So my weekend was then spent on a ward, being force fed water as I was dehydrated, while a hoard of doctors prodded and poked me.
Luckily it didn't require me to be sliced and diced and I was released on the Monday. I have been told I have suspected pancreatitis, which I am having to take tablets for. I also have a large hiatus hernia, so more tablets for that. I rattle if I move to quick, but still feel bad if I eat. I am also on a low fat, no taste diet due to the hernia! Why does everything that tastes nice (steak, chili etc) have to be on the "Jason can't have this" list?
Anyway, the good news is I am feeling better and am getting out a bit more. Played a game of Too Fat Lardies "I 'aint been shot Mum", which was a hit. Loved it, even if I couldn't spot anything. I am also part of a playtest group for a Dark Ages skirmish set by the Lardies, so Romano-British are on the painting line as we speak.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. Don't let the b******s grind you down!

Hmmm . . . if they've put you on Omeprazole, be aware that it can leave you open to a variety of 'bugs' like C.Diff and the like. I'm on it and it's been an experience . . .

That's one of the tablets I'm on, along with Creon and Ondansetron. I'm guessing it's not been an altogether pleasant experience then. Oh well, more joy to look forward too.
